The city of Boulder is the 11th most populated city in the state of Colorado, with 91,685 residents. The entire Boulder Metropolitan area is home to 280,440 residents, and is located just 25 miles northwest of the largest city by population and state of Colorado, Denver. The city of Boulder is most well known for being the home of the University of Colorado at Boulder, which is the largest university in the entire state, with 28,000 enrolled students. Boulder is also home to Naropa University, which is the only Buddhist University in the United States. Other colleges and universities include Rivendell College, Boulder College of Massage Therapy, Ruseto College, Southwest Acupuncture College, the Culinary School of the Rockies, and the Homeopathy School of Colorado.
